Cristiano Ronaldo tampil sebagai bintang kemenangan 6-2 Real Madrid atas Sevilla, dini hari tadi, dengan lesakkan empat golnya. Bagi CR7, keberhasilannya kali ini tidak lepas dari peran rekan setim yang memberikan dukungan penuh kepadanya.

Madrid, yang baru saja tersingkir dari panggung Liga Champions, tampil garang saat bertandang ke Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, markas Sevilla, Minggu (8/5/2011) dini hari tadi. Setengah lusin gol berhasil dilesakkan anak asuh Jose Mourinho. Empat diantaranya diborong Cristiano Ronaldo pada menit ke-31’, 65’, 70’ dan 75’.

“Untuk bisa mencetak empat gol bukan perkara mudah. Dan saya harus memberikan kredit khusus buat rekan setim yang terus membantu saya,” ujar Ronaldo selepas laga sebagaimana dikutip Goal, Minggu (8/5/2011).

Kesuksesan ini pun sukses mengantarnya mengungguli Lionel Messi dalam perburuan trofi El Pichichi (top skor La Liga) musim ini. Dengan koleksi 33 gol, Ronaldo unggul dua gol atas bocah ajaib Barcelona yang baru mengoleksi 31 gol. Namun, Ronaldo membantah anggapan yang menyebutnya mengincar trofi El Phichi karena tidak ingin menunjukkan diri masih lebih hebat dari Messi.

“Saya tidak ingin memikirkan menyabet gelar top skor,” sambungnya.

Dengan kemenangan ini, Madrid pun berhasil berhasil mengikis selisih poin dengan Barcelona menjadi lima angka. Secara matematis, dengan tiga laga tersisa di musim ini, peluang Madrid untuk bisa menyalip Barca memang masih terbuka, meski tipis. Menyikapi hal ini, Ronaldo mengakui timnya hampir mustahil bisa menyalip Barca.

“Setelah apa yang terjadi di Liga Champions (disingkirkan Barcelona di Liga Champions), kami semua bertekad meraih hasil postif dan kami mendapatkannya. Kemenangan selalu memiliki arti penting, semakin lama Barcelona memastikan gelar, semakin baik. Sekarang, kami harus bisa memenangi semua laga sisa tanpa harus memikirkan Barcelona,” tandas pemain termahal dunia ini.

“Memang, sedikit mengecewakan (kami tidak bisa memenangi liga), tapi inilah sepakbola ,” tutupnya seraya meyakini Barcelona hanya tinggal menunggu waktu untuk memastikan gelar juara La Liga musim ini.
