Baggio Sanjung Totti

Roma - Roberto Baggio memberi sanjungan untuk Francesco Totti atas keberhasilan kapten AS Roma itu melewati rekor golnya di Seri A. Menurut Baggio, Totti adalah pemain hebat.

Totti baru saja sukses menggeser Baggio dari posisi kelima pencetak gol terbanyak di Seri A. Penyerang 34 tahun itu sudah mencetak 206 gol selama hampir 19 musim membela Roma.

Meski catatannya dilewati oleh Totti, Baggio tak terlalu memusingkannya. Dia justru memuji juniornya tersebut.

"Saya memuji Totti. Mencetak 206 gol di Seri A merupakan pencapaian yang hebat," puji Baggio, seperti dilansir Football-Italia.

"Saya tak peduli kalau dia sudah melewati saya karena dia adalah pemain hebat," tambah pria 44 tahun ini.

Totti kini butuh 11 gol lagi untuk melewati rekor peringkat ketiga, yang dipegang bersama oleh Giuseppe Meazza dan Jose Altafini. Keduanya sudah mencetak 216 gol. Sementara rekor pencetak gol terbanyak masih dipegang oleh Silvio Piola yang mencetak 274 gol.
