Krisis Keuangan, Arema Tetap Lawan Jeonbuk Hyundai di Korea

Malang - Meski tengah dirundung krisis keuangan, Arema Indonesia memastikan berangkat menuju Republik Korea hari ini untuk melakoni laga lanjutan Liga Champion Asia (LCA) melawan Jeunbok Hyundai Motors.

"Tim tetap berangkat hari ini. Semua persiapan sudah beres," ujar Ketua Harian Arema Indonesia Abriadi Muhara menghubungi detikSport melalui telepon genggamnya, Sabtu (7/5/2011), pagi.

Dia mengaku, untuk biaya keberangkatan tim, dirinya harus merogoh kocek sendiri. Soalnya, dana pembinaan dari Asia Football Club (AFC) kepada tim yang berlaga di LCA, sebesar US$ 30 ribu, belum juga turun.

"Dana AFC belum cair, makanya pakai uang sendiri," tuturnya.

Keberangkatan Arema ini, lanjut dia, demi citra persepakbolaan tanah air di ajang internasional. Semua klub harus komitmen mengarungi laga yang dijadwalkan.

Apabila kendala keuangan, Arema memutuskan tak berangkat, justru sanksi berat bisa dijatuhkan leh AFC. Selain itu citra buruk akan menempel kepada klub juara Indonesia itu.

Ditanya berapa anggaran dana untuk keberangkatan ke Korea, Abriadi sedikit merinci. Tiket pesawat untuk satu orang saja Rp 9,5 juta.

"Kita bawa 18 pemain bersama ofisial tim. Bisa ditotal sendiri lah berapa uang yang dikeluarkan," bebernya.

Abriadi juga berharap timnya bisa mencuri poin dalam laga terakhir Grup G tersebut, meskipun peluang maju ke babak 16 besar sudah tiada. Dari lima pertandingan sebelumnya, Singo Edan cuma meraih satu poin.
