Perpanjang Kontrak 1 Tahun, Bukti Loyalitas Del Piero

TURIN – Juventus dan Alessandro Del Piero akhirnya mencapai kesepakatan kontrak baru. Sang kapten dipatikan bertahan hingga 2012 mendatang.

Melalui situs resmi klub, Bianconeri mengumumkan Del Piero telah menyetujui kontrak baru yang berdurasi hingga 30 Juni 2012. Sebelumnya, Del Piero bertemu Presiden Andrea Agnelli di stadion anyar untuk membahas masa depan sang kapten.

Seperti diberitakan Football-Italia, Jumat (6/5/2011), kesepakatan kedua pihak terjadi setelah Stefano Del Piero, agen sekaligus kakak Del Piero, bicara cengan Direktur Umum Giuseppe Marotta.

Kontrak lama Del Piero sedianya akan berakhir bulan depan. Rumor seputar kepergiaan pemain kelahiran November 1974 ini pun sempat mencuat, meski beberapa pihak berharap Del Piero tetap menjadi ikon Turin.

Soal nilai kontrak baru Del Piero, belum ada pengumuman resmi dari pihak klub. Namun, media Italia mengklaim pemain yang sudah membela Bianconeri sejak 1993 menerima pemotongan gaji dari yang diterima saat ini, empat juta euro per tahun.
