Silvio Berlusconi : Jadikan Namaku Menjadi Nama Stadion Milan

Milan - Presiden AC Milan Silvio Berlusconi mengklaim dirinya adalah presiden Rossoneri yang tersukses. Itu sebabnya Berlusconi berharap namanya diabadikan menjadi nama stadion markas Milan.

Akhir pekan ini Milan siap untuk menambah satu trofi ke daftar prestasi mereka, yakni scudetto. Satu poin dari laga melawan AS Roma bakal membawa tim besutan Massimiliano Allegri meraih gelar juara Seri A.

"Dalam kasus Milan, maka ini akan menjadi trofi mayor ke-27 selama era saya. Dua puluh enam trofi sebelumnya sudah dimenangi di bawah kepemimpinan saya. Itu membuat Milan menjadi klub tersukses di dunia dan menjadikan saya sebagai presiden klub tersukses di dunia," tandas Berlusconi seperti dilansir dari situs resmi FIFA.

Pria yang juga perdana menteri Italia itu selanjutnya berharap namanya diabadikan di stadion kandang Milan. Berlusconi membandingkan dirinya dengan Santiago Bernabeu, presiden klub Real Madrid tahun 1943-1978.

"Setelah saya, presiden yang juga memenangi banyak gelar adalah Santiago Bernabeu yang memang luar biasa. Spanyol memberikan dia penghormatan dengan menggunakan namanya sebagai nama stadion," lugas dia.

AFP memberitakan bahwa klaim Berlusconi ini dan juga komparasinya dengan Bernabeu merupakan kelihaian si presiden Milan dalam memaparkan fakta.

Di bawah Berlusconi sejak 1986, Milan memenangi lima Liga Champions, tujuh scudetto, dan satu gelar Piala Italia. Sementara di bawah Bernabeu Madrid memenangi enam gelar Liga Champions, 16 kali juara Liga Spanyol, dan enam kali juara Piala Spanyol.

Trofi Berlusconi menjadi bertambah karena dia menambahkan Piala Super Italia (lima gelar), Piala Super Eropa (lima gelar), Piala Interkontinental (dua gelar) dan Piala Dunia Antarklub. Kejuaraan itu belum ada di era Bernabeu.

"Kita hanya bicara soal gelar juara yang mana tanda kemenangan itu juga tertera di seragam klub," jawab Berlusconi mengenai hal ini.
