Terry inginkan lebih dari 500 laga

London - John Terry baru saja melakoni partai ke-500-nya dalam seragam Chelsea. Kapten timnas Inggris ini pun siap terus menambah jumlah penampilannya bersama The Blues.

Terry merupakan produk akademi Chelsea. Sejak melakoni debut pada tahun 1998, masih setia kepada klub London Barat tersebut.

Bek 30 tahun itu menjalani partai ke-500-nya bersama The Blues dalam laga kontra Tottenham Hotspur akhir pekan lalu. Catatan ini terasa makin manis karena timnya meraih kemenangan dalam laga tersebut dengan skor 2-1.

Kontrak Terry bersama Chelsea masih tersisa tiga tahun lagi. Dia pun siap bermain sebanyak mungkin hingga kontraknya berakhir.

"Melihat ke belakang, saya tak pernah membayangkan akan sejauh ini," kata Terry, seperti dilansir SkySports.

"Saya bahagia bisa mencapai 500. Saya sangat bangga. Saya punya rapor yang hebat dengan fans dan saya menginginkan lebih banyak pertandingan lagi," lanjutnya.

"Saya masih punya kontrak tiga tahun lagi dan itulah yang ingin saya lakukan," sambung Terry.
